2019: Akoko Youths Endorse BTO
The Youths of Akoko in the Northern senatorial district of Ondo state have declared their support for Mr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Akoko Northwest/Northeast Federal Constituency in the 2019 Election.
The Youths who spoke through a Press statement signed by their President, Comrade Abiola Gideon, sited the need to get quality representation of the Constituency as the basis of their decision.

“Once to every man and nation comes the moment to decide”. Every electioneering period, the youths are lobbied and advocated to canvass, vote and support a particular candidate for reasons not far beyond the numerical strength of the youths and the intellectuality of the age grade. Often, youths are left to fend for themselves after the process and the thieving grade to enjoy their loot. The tide had changed and the age has come when youths now fight to be on the table and not to enjoy crumbs that fall off the table.
It is in light of the above that the Akoko North Federal Constituency had deemed it fit and necessary to official endorse on of ours, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, popularly called BTO to represent our interest at the Hallowed Green Chambers in Abuja come 2019. The All Progressive Congress(APC) had elected him as their candidate but this endorsement goes beyond party affiliation and alignment. The youths of Akoko North, which comprises of Akoko North East and Akoko North West Local Governments, are united in this course for a better Akoko North Federal Constituency.
Our endorsement is not for pecuniary gains nor for selfish reasons. It is based on the need to get quality representation of the Constituency at the next session. We have studied his manifesto and that of others and have found his the best of all. His resolve to better the lot of out people and improve our economy is commendable. He has been doing this before and we are rest assured he will not stop when eventually elected.
Let it be stated here that we constitute over 70% of total voters and we will not relent in getting our nails dirty to get BTO elected as only he offers the desired hope to better our lives and our environment.
