Yoruba Heritage International Holds First Annual Lecture & Awards

All is now set for the 2017 edition of the annual Yoruba Heritage Lecture and Awards, which is billed to hold on Thursday 23rd November 2017.

According to a statement jointly signed by the President of the Yoruba Heritage International, Prince Segun Adesemoye and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ayodeji Akinbolaji, the 2017 edition of the annual event with the theme “Regional Integration: Securing Yoruba Cultural Heritage Toward Building Bridges of Opportunities” will hold at the Ondo State Property Development Corporation (OSPDC) Multipurpose Event Centre, Ijapo, in Akure by 11am.

The statement read: “the event will be chaired by the former Presidential candidate, Chief Olu Falae, while the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu SAN will be the Chief Host and His Imperial Majesty, Olugbo of Ugboland, Oba Frederick Akinruntan with be the Royal Father of the day. Barr. Wole Adebayo, Chairman of African Dialogue Mission will deliver the keynote address.

“The event which will feature a public lecture to be delivered by Dr. Frederick Fasehun, will be awarding Ondo State indigenes who has made their marks in all human endeavours,” they added. 

The organizers further stated that the event will be beamed live on the social media for audience in far distance who wish to be part of the event.
