Why Some PDP Loyalists Will Remain In APC – Reno Omokri

The Peoples Democratic Party is obviously having her time of harvest and recovery as many of the APC lawmakers including those that initially exited Peoples Democratic Party before now are now returning to their home PDP.

Aside the 52 lawmakers – both at the lower and upper chambers – moved to PDP on Tuesday, Governor Samuel Ortom also announced his return to the opposition party.

Today, Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed assured some stakeholders today that he may decamp from APC as well.

In spite of this massive defection, President Muhammadu Buhari, APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole had a closed door meeting with the remaining APC senators at the State House last evening but not all of them attended, anyway.

Senator Ahmed Lawan had told pressmen that their meeting with the president was to reassure the party of their their loyalty.

In reaction to the outcome of the meeting, the ex-president Jonathan Goodluck’s media aide, Reno Omokri established that the senators were merely deceiving the President with their pledged loyalty.

He also corroborated his position that some of their loyalists will intentionally not exit APC to wreck its structure.

He made this allusion on Twitter this evening

“Let me assure President @MBuhari that many of the Senators that met with him yesterday and pledged loyalty to him are only fooling him. We are strategists in the @OfficialPDPNig, not fools. Some of our loyalists will remain behind to destroy that useless contraption from within!”, he wrote.
