Wale Ogunleye: I’ve lost A dear Friend – Adekanmbi

Renowned Politician and former commissioner in Ondo state, Asiwaju Femi Adekanmbi says he received the sad news of the untimely death of his friend Hon. Wale Ogunleye with grief.

Wale Ogunleye was the flag bearer of People’s Democratic Party in the last general election, to represent Akoko North Federal Constituency.

Adekanmbi said he is touched by Ogunleye’s departure, which According to him, has cost the Ondo State political space a bright and shining star.

“He was particularly close to me then in PDP, we all admired his candour and carriage, especially his competency and consistency. He was our Ambassador in Maryland United State, His demise is not just painful. It is very pathetic and unbearable”, Adekanmbi added.

Adekanmbi also sent his heartfelt condolences to Ogunleye’s wife, children, family, the People’s Democratic Party and entire Ondo State over this loss that he considers a personal one.

“I have lost a dear brother and friend whom we shared the same political ideology together. Wale, during his lifetime believes in development of his people particularly the youths” , Adekanmbi said. Rest in perfect peace my dear friend and brother.” He concluded
