UPDATE: OAU Suspends Union Leaders Over Fund Crisis

The Obafemi Awolowo University has just suspended two of the Students’ Union leaders over their alleged manhandling during executive meeting.

In a swift reaction to the reported physical combat between the Director of Socials, Adedayo Afolabi and Vice-President, Jacob Tosin, University’s management suspended the two culprits on the basis that the Code of Conduct has been breached.

The DOS and VP of Students’ Union were said to have been involved in a bloody fight over the disbursement of the 3.8 million backlog fund received from the management.
