UPDATE: Athletico Madrid Wins Super Eagle
The clubside, Athletico Madrid has defeated the Super Eagles team of Nigeria.
The scoreline between the Super Eagles B team and Athletico Madrid was 3 – 2 for the inaugural Gotv Max Cup tonight at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.
Everyone would have thought the defeat for Nigeria will not be easily contained, considering their opponent team’s expertise with a mix of world class players across different countries.

Legendary Fernando Torres, the former Liverpool and Chelsea skipper, nodded in the ball in the 64th to give his team a goal ahead of Nigeria.
Usman Mohammed later equalised for Nigeria to make 2-2.
Loose defending by the Eagles saw them concede another goal in the 85th as Borja Garces scored what became the winning goal.
