UNGA 2017: Buhari’s Speech Is Full Of Contradictions, Deceitful – Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Olufemi Fani Kayode, has faulted the speech of President Muhammadu Buhari at the occasion of the ongoing 2017 United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Despite appraisal for the President from some quarters, for condemning terrorism across the world especially the violence in North Korea, Chief Fani-Kayode has however rebuked Buhari on the ground of not addressing the internal crises leading to bloodshed in Nigeria.

“You condemn the killing of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar yet you slaughter Igbo Christians and Shiite Muslims in Nigeria and you turn a blind eye as your Salafist Fulani kinsmen and herdsmen butcher northern and southern Christians. You declare support for the establishment of a Palestinian state yet you reject the idea of Biafra. You condemn North Korea’s dictatorship yet you have proved to be the most
ruthless dictator that Nigeria has ever known”, he said.

He claimed the speech of the President Buhari is such with varieties of deceit and contradictions.

“Your speech at the United Nations was pitiful, shameless and uninspiring. It was a cocktail of contradictions, deceit and mendacities”, he pointed out.
