Two kidnapped in Ekiti Xmas Day attack

At Least two Persons were kidnapped in a Christmas day attack in Ekiti state, Nigerian cable news online has gathered.

A statement by the state police command however confirmed that one of the victims has been rescued from the den of his abductors

The abduction took place around 6pm.

It was learnt that the Abductors forcefully stopped one Lexus Jeep along Isan/Iludun Ekiti road and kidnapped the two occupants.

Shortly after the abduction, a distress call was received by Oye Divisional Police Officer who led his team to the scene

With the assistance of the Amotekun Corp, the Vigilantes and the Village Hunters, one of the victims was rescued while serious effort is ongoing to ensure the rescue of the other victim.

The Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State command, Tunde Mobayo called on everyone to be calm.
