The Goverrnor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola, Over the last weekend got himself and his two-termed tenure as the state governor under criticism as a results of some of his recent tweets.
The Governor, who is arguably one of the Nigerian Governors with keen interest on social media activities, having been seen him severally operating his personal IPAD flamboyantly even in odd scenarios, again took to his Twitter account to drop some tweets on Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12, and got attacking responses for them.
On Friday, the Governor tweeted about the victory of the English club-side, Arsenal’s victory in their last match.
“I’m going to really enjoy watching Lacazette.”
“Giroud keeps making it difficult for Arsenal fans not to like him”
“Wenger might just have unearthed a gem in Kolasenic”, he tweeted.
Some Twitter users condemned the Governor for taking light the affairs of the state and rather be concerned about high-paying footballers.
While some implored the Governor to improve the sport sector of the state, several came for him on the salary arrears of the workers.

Again, Aregbesola posted a picture of himself signalling a gesture of peace to a kid barefooted behind a mud house and captioned it:
“The soul is healed by being with children – Fyodor Dostoyevsky.”
He was bitterly critcized as well for allegedly denying the citizens of the states good livelihood especially as portrayed in the picture of the young boy in his tweet.
