RTEAN Lagos State Chapter Remain Dissolved – NEC

The National Executive Council of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) led by her President, Comrade Eriyo has approach the National Industrial Court of Nigeria sitting in Abuja to get an ex-perte order to restraining the former Lagos State chapter chairman, Alhaji Musa Mohammed from parading himself as the chairman of RTEAN Lagos State pending the determination of the merit of the case brought before it by the National President and the National Executive Council (NEC) of the association.


The ex-perte order granted on 20th September, 2019 by the court reads in part “An order of interim injunction restraining the defendant acting by themselves, servants, assigns, appointees, privies, cohorts, or whatsoever connected with the defendant in any form or whatsoever and howsoever from parading themselves or holding themselves as officers of the claimant’s offices, operation and business pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filled before the honourable court.

The court further restraint the defendants whether by themselves, agents, servants, appointees, assigns, privies or whosoever connected to them in any manner or whatsoever and howsoever from further harassing, intimidating, torturing, brutalizing, degrading and/or subjecting members of the claimant’s to any inhuman treatment overtly or covertly in respect of this matter pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filled before the honourable court.

The case has been adjourned to the 10th of October, 2019 for further hearing.
