Red Alert: Fayose Tightens Security in Ekiti As Cultists Prepare for Public Show.

The Governor of Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has paced a ban on all Public Processions and students’ activities in the state.

This is contained in a Press statement signed by the Special assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka. Made available to Nigerian Cable News.

According to the statement, privileged information at the Governor’s disposal has it that some cult groups have fixed 7th of July 2017 for Public a Procession. Hence, the Governor’s Order.

The Statement Reads in Part: “As a result of the information available to us that cultists will embark on public procession on every 7th of July, Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has banned all students activities and public processions in the State”.

It Reads Further: “Security operatives are to also be on red alert in Ijero Ekiti, Oye Ekiti and other towns with high students activities. They are to conduct stop and search on any vehicles within the State. There must be no activities of secret cults in Ekiti State henceforth and there must no students procession of any form”.

The Statement Conclusively warns that: ” Anyone found culpable in this act of using cultists to cause anarchy in the State will be dealt with decisively. This directive should be adhere to strictly”.
