Police Arrests Man for Selling Human Body Parts In Ogun
The Nigerian Police have arrested a man in Obada Oko, at town in Ogun state, for allegedly selling and being in Possession of human parts.
The Zone 2 Police Command in Onikan, Lagos State, on Saturday, confirmed the arrest.
The command’s Spokesperson, Mr. Dolapo Badmus, said in Lagos that the arrest was made possible through security information that they received on the activities of the suspect, an ex-convict.
“Upon receiving tip off, operatives trailed the suspect to Obada Oko in Ogun, where he was arrested at about 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
“The suspect confessed to be a dealer in human parts, while investigation revealed that he had been to prison twice over the same offence,” Badmus said.
The zonal image maker said that the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the zone, Mr Adamu Ibrahim, has directed that the suspect be thoroughly investigated and be charged to court.
