PDP Governors, Others Visit Buhari In London

Shortly after the return of the unannounced visit of some All Progressives Congress Governors and other party leaders, the People’s Democratic Party Governors have also embarked on a solidarity visit to President Buhari.

Ailing President Muhammadu, who has been off the shores of Nigeria for about three months now, has hosted a good number of Nigerian leaders including Acting President Yemi Osinbajo in recent times.

At a press briefing yesterday, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu revealed that Governors of Oyo, Borno, Benue, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi and Kano will be visiting President Buhari in London yesterday evening.

The chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State, led Peoples Democratic party, PDP, Governors consisting Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state and Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state and others Governors from APC to London to visit the ailing President.
