OSOPADEC APPOINTMENT: Prince Biyi Poroye Is A Round Peg In A Round Hole – Adeogun

Former member of the house of representatives, honourable Ade Adeogun has described the appointment of Prince Biyi Poroye, the new chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), as a choice of a round peg in a round hole.

Adeogun, in a statement released on his official Facebook page on Friday, also congratulated Prince Poroye on his new role, while expressing his confidence that Poroye will continue to promote excellence while justifying the confidence that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has in him.

The news of the appointment of Prince Biyi Poroye as OSOPADEC chairman by the Governor of Ondo State gladdens my heart. I celebrate a great man who has been of immense support to me in my political journey.

I remember his invaluable contributions in 2019 when I contested to represent the people of Akoko South East/Akoko South West in the House of Representatives. As the State chairman of Mega party, Prince Poroye didn’t just throw his weight behind me but ensured that his party, the Mega Party, supported me massively when the state leadership of APC on whose platform I contested did everything to ensure that the APC failed.

I congratulate Prince Poroye on his new role as I trust that he will continue to promote excellence while justifying the confidence that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has in him.

It is my prayer that OSOPADEC will live to the fulfillment of its mandate under Prince Biyi Poroye. May his leadership be a positive turn-around for the mandate areas and the entire people of Ondo state.
