Osinbajo Contradicts Buhari’s Controversial Statement Against Youths
The Nigerian Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo may have partly invalidated the words of President Muhammadu Buhari as both maintain opposing views about the youths of the country.
On Wednesday, President Buhari had thrown shade at his home-country youths to be majorly uneducated and lazy, depending on the wealth from oil as a natural resource.
Quoting as said:
“More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education for free.” Buhari established at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster, London.
This has generated myriads of counter reactions from Nigerians since yesterday.
But, Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday challenged youths in the country to brace up for political leadership of the country in the years ahead.
Osinbajo gave the charge when he received a delegation of Not-Too-Young-To-Run Movement which visited him in Abuja.
He said that youths needed to be ready for political offices they intended to occupy, pointing out that leadership positions were not automatic.
“It is true that young people are participating in every sphere of the economy and they are doing well, but they ended up there through one process of training or the other.
“Just like you have to train before you can become a pilot, so it is for politics.
“I think that whatever age a person chooses to run should not matter; what should matter is the preparedness of the person because elective positions require some skills.
“Most times people train to acquire other skills but not politics; that’s the way of democracy.’’
Osinbajo said that there was need for youths to move up the ladder of leadership to prepare themselves for politics.

*** More Churches Vs. More Industries ***
One need to answer a question, what is the essence of establishing churches: for salvation (saving others), then salvation is all for FREE.
Tithe paying is a practise that comes with one condition; your faith must stick with it. Thats all.
Most of these pastors need to speak and act the truth, but they know better. If you are a christian then live like Christ., One who gave his all for others, he had no earthly empire. Offering and donation is compulsory as Giving out is compulsory. What if your so called tithe is not acceptable, then Excuse yourself.
We all know that these pastors live extravagant life, build expensive schools, fly in private jets, make people see them like messiah, yet these life (living) is built from hard-earn money of those people who can’t afford three square meal. They need to learn how to make life affordable for the millions trooping after them, stop living a selfish life and start living a selfless life. Nothing is too small in giving, like making education and health less expensive etc.
What is the essence of building more churches? When there is less mercy and compassion.’ More church building less true believers. In what ways are churches helping to solve our Socio-economic problems., No church should pretend like its none of it concern. The practice of erecting church building every 3 to 6 month has no scriptural backing but an abuse of weak governmental laws. We need more industries where people can work and earn a living, there is a need for more hands at work to make a better country.
If churches accept Tithes then they need to pay Tax in order to care for others and because they are profit making organizations as well. For How long are we going to spiritualize and consciously sabotage the development of our dear country all in the name of some religious practice?
‘LET SAY NO TO A LAZY COUNTRY’
If jugdement will start from the church, then we need to check ourselves.
This is a challenge and a task to work on…
…for all things been fair and equal !!!
Stay blessed,
