Ondo Traditional Rulers Commend Akeredolu Over Infrastructure

Traditional rulers in Ese- Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State have commended the Akeredolu-led administration for the various infrastructural development in their domains.


The Kalasuwe of Apoi Land, Oba (Professor) Sunday Amuseghan spoke during the governor’s thank you visit to Ese–Odo Local Government Area on Monday, 18th March, 2019.

The Kalasuwe in his speech highlighted the projects executed by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in Ese Odo Local Government to includes the Sabomi Road, rehabilitation of the general hospital at Igbekebo, renovation of primary schools across various communities in the Local Government.

Following the overwhelming victory of the APC in the just concluded 2019 state house of assembly elections, the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) started a statewide appreciation visit with three local government area in Ondo south, Irele, Ese-odo, and Ilaje Local governments.

The Governor however stressed that the six-days tour is not aimed at political gains, but to appreciate the people for their support, especially during the 2019 general election.

“We have not come for political propaganda. We have not come to campaign. But we have come to thank you for the support you have given to this government.”

Governor Akeredolu who highlighted the achievements of his government within two years in office, also declared that his administration is working to create new local council development areas (LCDAs) in the state.

According to him, the creation of additional LGAs will bring about a more effective representation of the people.

He appreciated the people of the state and pleaded for more support in subsequent times for better governance.

“We need your support like you did in the state House of Assembly election. Your cooperation will enable us to do more.”

Recall that the ruling party had won Twenty-Three out of the Twenty-six seats during the March 23rd State House of Assembly Election.
