Ondo South Blackout: Niger Delta Activists suspend Protest

Concerned citizens and residents of the southern senatorial district of Ondo state under the auspices of the Niger Delta Activists Forum have Suspended a proposed protest of the forum over a protracted blackout in the area.

The group in a statement sent to Nigerian Cable news online said the suspension became necessary
with regards to consultations embarked upon with leaders and security agencies in the past days concerning the above mentioned issues.

NIGER DELTA ACTIVISTS FORUM SUSPENDS THE PROPOSED PROTEST AT BENIN ORE ROAD AIM AT REGISTERING OUR DISPLEASURE ON THE 11YEARS POWER OUTAGE IN THE ENTIRE SIX LGAs OF ONDO SOUTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT; GIVES ROOM FOR FURTHER DIALOGUE.

The above became necessary
with regards to consultations embarked upon with leaders and security agencies in the past days concerning the above mentioned issues.

In line with the mission and goals of this group, which focuses more on exploring every possible means of resolving issues.

Great people of the Ondo southern senatorial district, we hope that this last door of discussions will bring about our desire result of restoring, back electricity to the people .
