Ondo Rep, Ikengboju condemns Abduction of Seinde Fadeni’s Mother, says Buhari, Akeredolu must Address rising Insecurity

The member of the house of representatives representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal constituency, Hon. Ikengboju Dele Gboluga has condemned the abduction of Chief Mrs. Alice Fadeni, the mother of Mr. Sehinde Fadeni, a business man, in Ode-Aye, Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State.

Mrs. Fadeni was kidnapped on Tuesday evening at her residence by a group of heavily armed gunmen.

Gboluga in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday described the abduction of Mrs Fadeni as a fallout of the state of Insecurity in the state and country at large.

He called on President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to take fresh decisive decisions in addressing the rising state of Insecurity in the country and state.

The statement reads in Part:

“The news of the Abduction of Chief Mrs. Alice Fadeni is yet another sad and unfortunate development in our society”

“It is a fallout of the level of Insecurity in our country and state. more worrisome is the fact that we are all either immediate or prospective victims, as no one is totally safe in reality.”

“I call on Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and President Mohammadu Buhari to take fresh decisive decisions in addressing the challenge of rising Insecurity in our state and country.”

He urged security agencies to move into action, secure her unconditional release and bring the perpetrators to book immediately.
