Ondo Rep, Akinfolarin Empowers Constituents

The member representing Ileoluji-Okeigbo /Odigbo Federal constituency in the house of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin has empowered hundreds of his constituents with millions of naira in form grants, to grow their business.

The empowerment event held on Sunday had market men and women who are members of different cooperative societies across the Federal constituency as beneficiaries.

Speaking through his Senior Legislative Aide, Comrade Jimmy Akinyan, Akinfolarin assure the small scale entrepreneurs of his readiness to do more in uplifting the standards of the people who have reposed so much confidence on him by voting for him to represent them in the green chamber for the second term. He promised not to let them down.

He charged the people to make the best use of the grants given to them, while adding that the honourable member will be encouraged to double and triple the one given to them now.

One of the beneficiaries popularly called Mama Konga thanked the honourable member for all the projects he has done and is still doing for the constituency.

She said she thanked God that Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin did not disappoint them but rather made them proud because they can confidently tell people and show them the projects executed by the people’s representative.

The women who couldn’t hide their joy for the grants thanked the MHR and affirmed that he is truly concern about them and therefore called on him to contest for a higher position come 2023.

The women in a unanimous speech said they have never had it so good and prayed to God to always lead him so as to be able to do more.

Also Present at the gathering were stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress drawn from different wards of the constituency.
