Ondo Rep, Akinfolarin Donates Vehicle to Ore Police Area Command
The lawmaker representing Ile-oluji/Oke-igbo & Odigbo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa has supported the Nigeria Police Force Area Command in Ore with a Siena Bus.
Hon Amidu Takuro and Ifesowapo Elders forum on Thursday, 3rd of June 2021 handed over the vehicle to the command in Ore, Odigbo LG.
The operational vehicle is parts of Akinfolarin’s effort to support Nigeria Police to help them in the fight against, crime, banditry, armed robbery and kidnapping.
Recalled that Some months ago, the Ifesowapo elders forum met with Akinfolarin and requested for three projects from him, which are; patrol Vehicle for the police to aid their work, completion of Sabo – Show boy road and completion of Ore Civic Center.
Within the space of three months from the time the request was made, Akinfolarin, who is also the Chairman House committee on FRSC has successfully done two projects out of the three projects on request.
Today, the official handing over of the Siena bus to the Ore Police Area Command was done while works are on going in Sabo – Showboy road at the pace of lightening.
While reiterating his commitment to security of lives and property in the state, the Lawmaker said, “I will continue to provide the needed support to security agencies working in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo & Odigbo federal Constituency and prioritise the safety and security of my people.”
The Ore Police Area Commander, ACP Ajamolaya commended Akinfolarin on his efforts towards ensuring that the command’s efforts to tackle insecurity in the state is been supported by this kind gesture.
