Ondo Rep, Akinfolarin donates Transformer to constituents

The lawmaker representing Ile-oluji-Okeigbo and Odigbo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Mayowa Akinfolarin has donated a 500KVA transformer to Otun community in Ore ward, Odigbo local government area of Ondo state.

The transformer delivered on Thursday is to serve ‘show boy’, Lijoka and ‘Area mothers’ axis within the community.

Also delivered with the transformer are all needed equipments for its fully installation, to boost public power supply to the area.

Akinfolarin, who also doubles as the chairman, House committee on FRSC assured the constituents, that the transformer would help to improve the sagging power supply to the rural community.

He urged the community leaders to guard the transformer jealously.

Akinfolarin also promised the distribution of five new transformers to other communities, in addition to the ones he had distributed in the past.

Reacting to the development, comrade Tibetan Busayo, an opinion leader in the community commended the Lawmaker for “redefining quality, effective and people-oriented representation,” even as he also called on other elected leaders to “borrow a leaf from Akinfolarin”

The benefited community expressed gratitude to Akinfolarin for the gesture, describing the Lawmaker as “a rebuilder and an action person with an unprecedented record of achievements in the representation.”
