Ondo NNPP House of Assembly Candidate, Adewale Orogun Unveils 5-point Agenda
The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidate for the 2023 Akoko North East House of Assembly election in Ondo State, Hon. Adewale Orogun has unveiled his blueprints for the people of his Constituency.
Orogun who made this know while addressing his party members and supporters at Ikare Akoko in Akoko North East local government areas of Ondo state said the plans for his constituency are captured in the “Road To 2023 Agenda”.
“I wish to present my 5-point cardinal agenda towards the sustainable development of my constituency to you as “Agricultural and Health revolution, Rural development, Infrastructural maintenance and advancement, Security management, Educational and Economic management.”
He said, “Through our agricultural revolution we would ensure that there is enough food for our people at affordable prices. We would tap into our comparative advantage in this area and create wealth for our people.
“When elected I will make sure I lobby
for one more constituency for our local government like that of Akoko North West, South West, Owo, Ondo West, Akure South with similar number of wards which have two constituencies while we only have one. And Through a submit with all Kings and stakeholders, we will appeal to the governor to grant our request”, he assured.
He thanks the people of his Constituency for the trust bestowed on him and promised not to take it for granted if elected comes 2023 general election.
He however appealed the the people of the area to vote for him during the election saying that the election should be based on clear ideology, good personality, track record and not just party-partisan.
He noted that youth empowerment is one of his cardinal points agenda saying youth empowerment would curb the rate of poverty to a large level.
“One of the keys to empowering the youth is with skill development. When a youth is equipped with essential skills, he or she can utilize them to feed, assist others, and even invest for future use, aiding the nation economically”, he Orogun added.
