Ondo Kingdom Inaugurates new community Youth Leadership
Tasks on Human Capacity Development
The Ondo Development Committee, (ODC) of Ondo Kingdom has inaugurated a new caretaker leadership for all youth in the kingdom.
The Ondo Ekimogun Youth Congress, OEYC is the apex body coordinating the interest of youth in the kingdom-resident and diaspora. The organization is positioned under the ODC for effective communication of all youth affairs with the administrative structure of the kingdom.
The OEYC as designed by the ODC is to continually look into the affairs of the youth, and develop inclusive programs that will engage the youth positively.
Speaking for the ODC, Mr Akinbote, treasurer of ODC and Chief Kayode Akinnagbe promised to connect the new leadership with eminent sons and daughters of the kingdom across the nation. They also advised them to leverage on the available educational and vocational training opportunities in the kingdom. The new caretaker leadership was tasked to work closely with the Dr. Mrs. Bridget Awosika led advisory committee.
The members of the newly inaugurated caretaker committee include Mr. Olusola Akinbinu, Coordinator I, Kenneth Adegeye, Coordinator II, Atinuke Fadayomi, Secretary, Akinola Rahman PRO, Olufemi Olukemi, Treasurer and others.
The event which took place at the Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre has in attendance, Ondo chiefs, led by Chief Famuditimi, the Bapaiye of Ondo kingdom, eminent personalities, representatives of various security agencies and community youth leaders.
