Ondo APC Rejects Judgement Sacking Reps Candidate, Heads For A’Court
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has expressed surprise over the Federal High Court judgement in Akure today, as it affects it’s candidate for the Akoko South West/ South East Federal Constituency, Asiwaju Adegboyega Adefarati.
The party, in a statement signed by Mr. Alex Kalejaye, it’s state Publicity secretary on Friday, expresses grave concerns over the development, and said it has directs it’s lawyers to file a stay of execution of the judgement betimes.
The State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, assured party faithful that the party will challenge the judgement at the Appeal Court, with a view to securing a favourable judgement.
The State chapter called on members of the party, and residents of the federal constituency to stay calm, and allow peace to reign.
“The party will definitely get back the ticket, and ultimately win the federal constituency come February 25th”, the party chieftain assured.
