Omolafe’s Political legacy Lives on – Ondo ZLP
The Ondo chapter of the Zenith Labour Party(ZLP) says it received the saddening news of Honourable Adedayo Omolafe’s sudden demise with great shock.
The chairman of the Party, Hon (Dr.) Joseph Iranola Akinlaja in a statement he personally signed and made available to Nigerian Cable news online on Tuesday said:
“That the gentleman full of life and prospects passed on following a very brief illness is not only saddening but also painful.”
“Honourable Adedayo Omolafe, fondly referred to as Expensive constituted a very significant political personality in Akure federal constituency and Ondo state during his short but impactful life time.”
“He paraded some rare qualities of generosity, liberalness and friendliness as a politician and representative of his people.
But as untimely as his departure appears to us, we have to submit to the prerogative of Divinity.”
“The death is a loss to us as friends, the State, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and green chamber.”
“Therefore, I, on behalf of the leadership and entire Zenith Labour Party family, hereby express our hearty condolences to his immediate family, Akure federal constituency, Ondo State, the National Assembly and the Peoples Democratic Party Nationwide,
Death is a necessary terminal of transition to eternity. And as it is appointed unto every man, once to die, we only pray God to give all the bereaved the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. We also pray for the repose of the Departed soul.” He added.
