Nnamdi Kanu Abandons Biafra Agitation, Joins Nigerian Politics

Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme Leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra has reportedly changed his mind from pressing forward with his agitation for the actualization of Biafra which was established by the Late Dim Ojukwu.

The statement which was credited to Kanu at the South East leaders meeting states as follows:

“I have been advised by highly-placed Igbo political leaders and traditional heads to get involved in the Nigerian politics, so as to properly renegotiate the Igbo existence within the Nigerian political space. And that makes a lot of sense and sounds like a reasonable alternative”

“IPOB, as you are aware, is non violent organization and we are open to suggestions, for us the destiny of the Igbo Nation is sacrosanct, if by joining politics will make the realization possible, it’s an option I will gladly sell to my followers across the region, Kanu Said”

Recall that recently, Kanu has threatened that election will not hold in Anambra State, observers have also noted with deep analysis that, all the moves of Kanu may be that he is using the Biafra agitation to make himself very popular in his bid to finally join Nigerian mainstream politics.

However, Kanu supporters has taken to social media to defend him, that he has no political intention other than to lead them to the actualization of Biafra Nation.

But political analysts has said, Kanu’s activism is a mix of deception using the Biafra to lure unsuspecting members especially gullible youths, a decision which may hurt them when he (Kanu) finally joins the politicians he has been calling all sort of unprintable names and therefore call for caution.

I’ve known from start that KANU is seeking for political recognition. I pity the innocent followers.
