Motorists Lament As Fuel Scarcity Hits Akure

Long queues of vehicles have resurfaced in fuel stations in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Many filling stations, most especially independent marketers have closed for some days, claiming they have no product to sell to motorists and other consumers.

Nigerian cable news online gathered that there was a long queue of vehicles at some filling stations along Akure-Owo expressway.

No reason has been given for this latest development.

It was also gathered that some filling stations now sell the product between N190 and N200 per litre, while many motorists embarked on panic buying.
