While not parade gainsaying, you represent one of the best living progressives whose indelible policies, programmes and projects have impacted the land, and empowered the people.
History has embowel your model of governance, and philosophy of politics.
I remain, and shall remain one of your proudest protégés who is convinced that your enduring principle of humanism works.
I enjoin you to enjoy your day in full satisfaction that we all love you, and wish you more happy returns.

My message to former Gov. of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko as he turns 63 is to advise him to go back and pick his Qur’an in English and read it thoroughly, then bow with those who bow before Allah recalls him from Planet Earth.
