Lagos Fire Disaster: Buhari Reacts
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his heartfelt condolence over the outbreak of fire as a result of failed brake from petrol tanker yesterday at Berger, Lagos state.
In the evening of June 28, it became cloudy at the area of Otedola Estate along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway as the fire incident reportedly claimed nine lives and scores of vehicles totally razed.
On the Presidency’s Twitter handle last night, the media aide communicated the bitterness of the no 1 citizen adding that the country mourns with the bereaved.
‘Pres. @MBuhari sympathizes with the Govt @followlasg and people of Lagos State, and the victims of the tanker fire incident that occurred this evening. May the souls of the dead rest in peace, and may God comfort all those who lost loved ones. The entire country mourns with you’, the tweet reads.
