The Federal Government has just approved the concession of two major national airports in Nigeria.
Yemi Osinbajo, vice president, made this known today while speaking at the fifth edition of the presidential quarterly business forum which held at the State House, Abuja.
He said: “I am pleased to say that the federal executive council (FEC) has approved the concessioning of the Lagos and Abuja airports.
Recall, the Hadi Sirika, minister of state for aviation, had earlier explained that government already indicated interest to concession of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos; Nnamdi
Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja; Port Harcourt International Airport, Port Harcourt, and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano to improve their safety and capacity.
