Uche Nwosu not kidnapped, In Custody – Police

The Imo State Police Command has said that Mr. Uche Nwosu, the son in-law of Former Governor Rochas Okorocha was arrested by it’s men and not kidnappers as it is being widely speculated on various social media platforms.

The former Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) was whisked away from by men dressed in security uniform, after they stormed St. Peter’s Anglican Church Nkwere, Imo state.

Unconfirmed Report said the men were shooting sporadically in the Church before whisking him away.

Uche Nwosu was in the Church for the outing service of his mother who was buried at the weekend.

The Police Public Relations officer in the State, Michael Abatam, However confirmed to Nigerian Cable news online that he was arrested and not kidnapped.
