Ondo Monarch Joins Ancestors at 96
The Olu of Igodan Lisa Kingdom in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo state, Oba Paul Abiodun Akinsola has joined his ancestors.
The monarch, who passed on in the early hours of Friday was 96 Years old.
The demise of the traditional ruler was announced by his Royal Family through his son, Mr. Eni. Akinsola, a former Chief Press secretary to the Ondo state Governor.
He wrote:
“The Oba Paul Akinsola Royal family on behalf of the people of Igodan Lisa Kingdom announce with thanks to God the passage of Oba Paul Abiodun Akinsola, the Olu of Igodan Lisa at the ripe age of 96 years.”
“Oba Akinsola is survived by children, grand children and great grand children.”
“With thanks to God the passage of Oba Paul Abiodun Akinsola, the Olu of Igodan Lisa at the ripe age of 96 years.”
Rites of passage have commenced in and across Igodan Lisa Kingdom where Ondo state University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa is located.
