JUST IN: Ondo APC Postpones Local Govt Election Primaries Indefinitely

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state has postponed the primary election into the 18 local government areas of the state, Nigerian Cable News learnt.

The primary election was earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday across the local government party secretariats.

Local government election in the state will hold on 1st December.

According to a reliable source within the party leadership, the postponement is as a result of the prolonged screenning exercise of the Party candidates and other preelection processes.

It is not clear if the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will be contesting the election with the APC.
