JUST IN: #LazyNigeriaYouths Enters Wikipedia

The trending hash tag, #LazyNigeriaYouth of just one-week old has found it way to Wikipedia.

Last week tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari had inferred at the business meeting of Commonwealth Head of Governments, that most of the Nigerian youths are illiterate and indolent while they depend on the country because of its richness in oil which remains a major natural resource around the world as at today.

The youths of the country reacted against the President’s words while he was in London massive backlash on social media accompanied by #LazyNigerianYouth.

The hashtag has recorded hundreds of thousands of tweets and millions of expressions within a short period of a week.

The page containing the etymology of the hashtag has now featured on the global search engine.

Wikipedia explained that the youth seized the opportunity to showcase to the world the ingenuity of their trade and expertise as Nigerians.
