JUST IN: Buhari Signs 2018 Budget

The Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has just assented the 2018 Appropriation bill into law.

The approved budget was increased at the National Assembly by N508 billion from the proposed N8.612 trillion to N9.12 trillion.

The President’s approval this hour took a month after the National Assembly reverted the proposal to the Executive in May.

President had submitted the bill to the joint session of the Nigerian legislature in December 2017.
