JUST IN: Fulani Herdsmen Attack Obasanjo Over Letter To Buhari
The Nasarawa state chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has attacked former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his open letter to the President on the state of the nation, accusing him of wanting to control the seat of power from his bedroom.
Obasanjo, who lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari over his gross incompetent to superintend over the affairs of the country, had advised the president against seeking re-election in 2019.
Reacting, MACBAN urged Buhari to ignore the advice of the former President, stressing that Obasanjo was out to replace Buhari with his “cronies.”
Addressing journalists yesterday in Lafia, the state capital, State Chairman of MACBAN, Muhammed Hussaini said Obasanjo had always wanted to control a sitting president.
Hussaini noted that when the former president was unable to control Buhari, he opted to turn against him.
According to Hussaini, “Obasanjo wants to install one of his cronies to be the next President of Nigeria; someone he will be controlling from his bedroom.
“Obasanjo brought Jonathan alongside late President Umaru Yar’adua with the intention to remote-control them and after the demise of Yar’adua, Jonathan defied Obasanjo’s unnecessary interference in his government and he turned against him.”
He is talking rubbish.

This is an asinine comment from the Fulani herdsmen/terrorists. If they have sense they should know they are the achilles of Buhari’ regime. OBJ really loves Buhari for telling him the truth. Let him look at the grey areas Obasanjo pointed out, he can win election in 2019. We can’t vote for him to be lukewarm about the killing by Fulani herdsmen, his kinsmen.
Why are we fond of setting aside the issues and focusing on irrelevance in this country? Obasanjo aired his views on issues important to national development . What is needed is a healthy discourse, not Obasanjo himself. We exploit religion,ethnicity,sexism,e.t.c to escape domiciling responsibilty as appropriate. If we really love this country and seek its progress, let’s objectively address issues concerning it and stop this endless chasing of shadow. Nigeria will survive this malaise.

Though late, I consider MACBAN call to Buhari to neglect the letter written by Obasanjo advising the president not to seek re-election in 2019 as an affront on Nigerians sensibility and an open support by foreigners for the president misrule. It also lends credence to the association support for and facilitation of the present insecurity in the country. If the killings going on all over the country must have to stop, Buhari must never be voted into power come 2019.
