JUST IN: Another Emergency Security Meeting Summoned Over Herdsmen Crisis

Barely two hours after the security meeting with top service chiefs presided over by President Muhammadu in Aso Rock, the Nasarawa State Government under Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has decided to hold one again.

According to a report from Channels TV, the meeting was called over the ongoing crisis between the Fulani herdsmen and the local farmers.

Nasarawa state is one of the states the herdsmen have been alleged to be in crises with the local farmers, which have claimed hundreds of lives in the last one month of this year.
