JAMB Commits ‘Grammatical Error’ On Twitter Over Cut-Off Mark [SEE DETAILS]

The Twitter Handler of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board in-charge of admissions into tertiary institution within Nigeria, has made a pardonable but ridiculous grammatical error on the social media sphere.

As the latest cut-off marks into tertiary institutions brew controversy across the nation, the board intended to establish a point that irrespective of the low 120 score for universities, admission is yet not guaranteed.

Instead of tweeting: “the 120 cut-off mark for admission into universities is not an automatic ticket for admission”, JAMB, at first tweeted such with flaw, to read: “the 120 cut off marks for universities does not automatic admission”.

After the careless tweet became an element for mockery, the board layer pulled down the tweet with grammatical flaw yesterday and corrected the error.
