Ikubese mourns Expensive says, ‘impact will be difficult to replace’
Renowned Philanthropist and Proprietor of Skye Hospital in Akure, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese has described the death of Omolafe Adedayo as a loss of a great son of Akure whose impact will be difficult to replace.
Nigerian Cable news online reported how the late federal lawmaker, Popularly known as expensive, who represented Akure north and south federal constituency in the National Assembly, died in the early hours of Monday.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to Nigerian Cable news online, Ikubese said:
“I received this morning with great shock, the news of the passing away of my brother, Hon Adedayo Omolafe, the lawmaker representing Akure South/Akure North Federal Constituency in the National Assembly,”
“His countless philanthropic gestures and selfless lifestyle in and out of office, is well known to all.”
“No doubt, we have lost a great son of Akure whose impact will be difficult to replace.”
“I condole with the immediate family, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, the Deji of Akure and the entire people of Ondo state on this great loss.”
“May we not again witness such demise of our illustrious sons and daughters.” He added.
