Why I Dumped PDP For APC _ Mayowa Akinfolarin
Honourable Mayowa Akinfolarin, the member representing Ileoluji-Okeigbo/Odigbo federal constituency in the house of representatives, who was elected under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP), and decamped to the All Progressives Congress(APC) on Friday has state his reasons for dumping his former party.
Akinfolarin, who was received by the governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, the deputy governor, Bar. Agboola Ajay, the acting chairman of APC in Ondo state, Hon. Adetimehin, and other leaders of the party, said the PDP is no longer what it used to be, adding that the party has accommodated too many bad people. Which has affected the state of affairs in the party.
‘I don’t want to be like the sturbon fly that follows a dead body into the grave’, he said
The former deputy speaker also said that his decision to leave the PDP was a collective one among his people, and that he had no choice than to obey.
