How Nigeria Police Is Plotting To Assassinate Me – Dino Melaye

The Lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Senator Dino Melaye Says the Nigerian Police is Planning to murder Him.

He said the uniform men are planning a means to forcefully detain him in Kogi state, where the assassination will afterwards be carried out.

It’s the sixth arraignment of the Police according to the Peoples Democratic Party senator who cross-carpeted from All Progressive’s Congress late last July.

On Twitter handle this afternoon, he was quoted thus:

“Nigerian police working with Kogi State Govt is trying to frame me up again with culpable Homicide and illegal possession of fire arm. This is going to be the 6th arraignment of police against me. They want to forcefully take me to lokoja and kill me afterwards. cc: UN,EU,USA,AU.

“I was the one attacked by the police, they try to kill me, Ait reporter and other journalists were there. It was reported by Ait and other national print medium. To turn around and accuse harmless me of lies is rediculous. But this time they will be shocked bc i know too much”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, Melaye is having a standing court case arraigned by the Nigerian Police over gunrunning allegation.

One of the times he was billed to appear before the High Court in Kogi, he was absent as his brother and lawyer affirmed he could have been kidnapped on his way from tje country’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

He later came out after the calm has been experienced on the controversial information to narrate to the public how he escaped assassination by Police that shot at him before he managed to find his way to nearby bush.
