Hon Ehindero Welcomes Gov Aiyedatiwa To Akoko Northwest As Campaign Continues With Community Engagement
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions and Member Representing Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero has joined the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as he continued his campaign tour across Akoko Northwest.
The visit exemplified Governor Aiyedatiwa’s ongoing commitment to directly assess and address the needs of communities in the region, a stance Hon. Ehindero enthusiastically supports.
Delivering a goodwill message from the Hon. Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Hon. Ehindero conveyed the minister’s sincere commendations to the people of Akoko Northwest for their enduring loyalty and support for the APC. He stated, “The Hon. Minister of Interior acknowledges your steadfast support and commitment to the ideals of our party. Together, we are all striving towards a unified, prosperous Ondo State under the able leadership of Gov. Aiyedatiwa, and the minister stands firmly with you as we approach this important election.”
In his address, Hon. Ehindero commended Gov. Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and the strategic approach of the 2025 budget, aimed at meeting the critical needs of the people of Ondo State. “Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown, time and again, that he is a leader who listens and acts. His commitment to creating an inclusive budget that addresses the developmental needs of all regions in the state is a testament to his dedication to our communities. I urge the good people of Akoko Northwest to come out in full support on election day to keep this vision alive.”
Hon. Ehindero expressed gratitude to the people, stakeholders, traditional rulers, and leaders of Akoko Northwest for their unity and unwavering support. “The unity among our leaders, stakeholders, and every member of the APC in this area is truly inspiring. Together, we are making a powerful statement for the continued progress of Akoko Northwest,” he added.
Gov. Aiyedatiwa, addressing the crowd in Oke Agbe, underscored his commitment to inclusive governance and reaffirmed that the 2025 budget would tackle pressing needs across Ondo State, emphasizing infrastructure, security, and agriculture as top priorities. “We are creating a budget that reflects the real needs of our communities, ensuring no one is left behind,” the Governor said. “I have personally visited each community to see things firsthand, because our government’s decisions must be guided by the realities on the ground.”
The Governor extended his appreciation to the traditional rulers and community leaders for their support, noting that their endorsement had strengthened his resolve to keep pushing for the state’s advancement. He remarked, “Your support, from the primaries to today, shows the strength of our shared vision. Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for Ondo State.”
The event was marked by the official defection of Mrs. Susan Gbemisola Alabi, the former deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), to the APC, symbolizing a strengthening unity among political allies.
With Governor Aiyedatiwa’s visit to Akoko Northwest, the message of inclusive growth, unity, and commitment to progress resounded strongly, rallying the APC supporters and the wider community to support his vision for Ondo State.
