Group Condemn Robbery Attack On Bank In Ondo

The Ose Concerned Citizens’ on Friday condemned the incessant armed robbery attack on the Skye Bank located in Ifon, the Local Government Headquarters of Ose Local Government in Ondo state. The forum has described the armed robbery attack on the bank, as the height of social nuisance bedevilling the country, wondering what manner of human beings would want to kill his fellow human in the name of rubbery.

The group condemned the robbery on the only bank in Ifon, saying that it viewed it as an attack to the financial Institution and the economy.

“I condemn this robbery in the strongest terms and call for harsh punishment on those responsible. Banking is part of our economic drivers in Ifon, we must work hard in protecting this industry from hoodlums.”

Com. ‘Bode Alegbe therefore called the security operatives to rise to the occasion while he also tasked stakeholders, Political leaders and the Royal Fathers on the need to unravel the situation and come up with relevant solutions.

One of the Co- Initiators of Ose Concerned citizens, Com. Kunle Balogun said now that the armed bandits have attacked the bank, nobody knows which bank is the next to be visited by the men of the underworld.

He therefore called for the urgent intervention of Operation Burst and other security operatives in the state to rise and ameliorate the robbery attack.
He also commiserate with the family of the deceased and therefore call on relevant stakeholders on a need to organize a Security Summit as a matter of urgency to address the security issues being faced by the community and its environs.
