Gombe Governor mourns Islamic cleric, Sheikh Adamu Chilo

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa has received with sadness the news of the demise of an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Adamu Chilo, who died today in Gombe.

Governor Yahaya in a statement signed by
Mr. Ismaila Uba Misilli, his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity described the late religious leader as a great scholar, who lived a simple life and spent greater part of his life propagating islamic idels and guiding people in the service of Almighty Allah and the path of prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The Governor described the cleric’s demise as a huge loss, not only to the deceased’s immediate family, but the entire state.

He extended the condolences of the Government and people of Gombe state to the bereaved family as well as to members of Fityanul Islam where he served as a strong pillar, the Tijjaniyya community and the entite Muslim ummah in the state.

Governor Yahaya prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his Shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
