Fresh Trouble Looms In APC As Two Party Governors Meet PDP Leaders Ahead Defection

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) leaders on Wednessday had a closed door meeting with the Governors of Sokoto state and Kwara state, Aminu Tambuwal and Abdufatah Ahmed in Ilorin, the Kwara capital city.

Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state, was among the leaders who attended the meeting.

The two governors are under current speculation of defection from the ruling All Progressive’s Congress, APC to PDP.

Similarly, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue announced on Monday that he had been given a “red card” in the ruling party but he hasn’t announced the ‘football club’ he is planning to join.
