Evans Takes A U-turn, Says He Is ‘Not Guilty’

The suspected notorious kingpin kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans has turned around his case as he pleads ‘not guilty’ before Lagos High Court today.

Although, Evans had earlier admitted to be guilty of a two-count charges of kidnapping and conspiracy to commit
felony, in August, alongside five accused accomplices.

In proceedings today, Evans and five
other accused pleaded ‘not guilty’.

Recall, Mr. Olukoya Ogungbeje, the alleged criminal’s lawyer reacted that Evans will change his plea as his initial guilt admittance was coerced out of him.

The case will continue on November the 3rd.
