Eid-el-Kabir: Akinjo Greets Muslims, Urges Them To Pray For Nigeria

The lawmaker representing ilaje /Ese Odo federal constituency, Honourable Kolade Akinjo has felicitated with Muslims across the state and Nigeria at large, on the occassion of this year’s Eid el Kabir.

Akinjo called on Muslim faithful to imbibe the tenets of Islam as contained in the Holy Quran and rededicate themselves to God and humanity.

He urged them to continue to pray for Nigeria, especially at a time the country is faced with daunting challenges.

He wishes the Muslim Community Eid Mubarak in a statement issued on Sunday. It reads;

As another Eid-el-Kabir is celebrated, I, on behalf of my family and entire Ilaje/Ese Odo constituents do wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a joyous celebrations.

While it is a period to dine and wine, we should also be mindful of the state of the nation’s affairs; And as written in the Holy Quran 2:154, those who believe should seek assistance from Allah with patience and prayers; we should continue to pray individually and collectively as a nation for better days and await Allah’s divine intervention.

Once again, I wish us all a happy Eid el Kabir and successful years ahead.
