Eid-el-Adha: Ondo APC Greets Muslims, Urges Appreciation To Allah

As Muslims celebrate the festival of Eid-el-adha, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged them to reflect on occurrences that have happened in Ondo State, and indeed, Nigeria, so they could appropriately appreciate Allah for his mercies.

The Party, in a statement signed by it’s state Publicity secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaye on Wednesday said:
“the victory songs and the peace being experienced today might not be there without your prayers and sacrifices. We implore you to always place Nigeria ahead of personal gains.”

“The demonstration of obedience, faithfulness, and love for humanity by Prophet Ibrahim remains an enduring legacy to emulate. You should continually live by that example.”

He said the party views the electoral fortunes of the APC at all levels as divine arrangements, while adding that it is not common for a party that swims against both religious and economic tide to prevail unscratched in a general election.

“The party further expresses delight at the dedication of men and women of faith, who set aside quality time to seek the face of the Almighty God on the political tsunami that ravaged the Sunshine State in recent times. We remain unperturbed.”

“The State chapter assures the Muslim community and, indeed, all residents of the State that there is no cause for alarm.”

“We seize this opportunity to allay any fear that we are polarized. Mr. Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, and his deputy, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa, are on the same page, working for the infrastructural and socioeconomic development of the State.”

“The party urges residents to be watchful and take extra precautions during this rainy season to avoid being caught unawares by unexpected floods.”

“The Ondo APC congratulates the Muslim faithful across all divides. We pray Allah to accept your sacrifices, and grant you the opportunity to celebrate many of it in good health.
Barka de Sallah!” He added.
