Easter: Hon Adejoro Adeogun Greets Christians, Preaches Hope

Former member of the house of representatives and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), honourable Adejoro Adeogun has felicitated christians in Ondo state and Nigeria on the celebration of Easter.

Adeogun, in a statement released on Saturday admonished the people and residents of Ondo state to embrace the hope of a better future despite the current economic challenges confronting Nigeria.

“As we face our present diverse challenges, it is my admonition to our people in Ondo state to embrace the hope of a better future for us in Ondo State and Nigeria, He said.

He emphasized the need for show of love selflessness and charity, as exemplified by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

“I urge our people to be selfless, be generous and helpful, especially toward the needy and disadvantaged, and sacrifice for others according to our capacity, as exemplified by our lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.” He added.

He urged leaders at different political and administrative levels to lead by example in selflessness, generosity, respect for followers and the fear of God in their decisions, actions and inactions.

Adeogun represented Akoko southeast and southwest federal constituency in the house of representatives on the platform of the APC between 2019 and 2023.
