COVID-19: Pray for Akeredolu’s Quick Recovery, Ondo Rep Caucus Urges constituents

Members of the House of Representatives from Ondo state under the auspices of the Ondo Rep Caucus has asked their constituents across the state to Pray for Governor Akeredolu’s quick Recovery from the Coronavirus infection.

The Governor had earlier on Tuesday taken to his official Twitter handle to announce his COVID-19 Positive status, while adding that his is asymptomatic.

In a reaction to the development, the Honourables in a statement signed by their caucus leader, Rt. Honourable Mayowa Akinfolarin expressed their concern over the Governor’s new health status, while calling for prayers for him.

He said:

“The Ondo state caucus in the house of representatives has received with serious concern, the news of the COVID-19 status of the First Citizen of our state, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.”

“While we encourage Mr. Governor to be strong and courageous in this unusual and difficult Period of carrying the infectious virus. It is our wish and Prayer that the good Lord shall grant him the needed speedy and absolute recovery.”

“We equally urge our constituents and fellow citizens and Residents of the state to remember Mr. Governor and other patients presently recieving treatment over the disease in their Prayers.”

“We Pray the God shall heal our state, country and other Nations of the world of the Global Pandemic.” He added.
